Uji Hills and Hakusan Shrine

Service Description
Uji is a location famous for the Tale of Genji, Tea, and the World Heritage site Kamigamo Jinja and the Byodo-in, but there is so much more to the Uji, and alot of it is hidden! This walk starts at the Uji Keihan station and takes us by Kamigamo Jinja, up the hills of Daikichiyama (to a Kyoto Animation film location) overlooking the city of Uji and the Byodo-in. It takes in a mountain top princes's grave, through woodland and over the river before taking the woodland walk from the main part of Uji to the hidden away Hakusan Shrine at the end of the Shirakawa Momiji Valley. Prices for the guided walk starts from ¥10,000 for a one person guided walk with price person decreasing dependent on the number of people taking part in the walk.
